What does Shalom Mean? Acts of Shalom An Act of Shalom is something we do for someone else that helps them...
How many times have you made a list of New Year's Resolutions, just to get to January 15th and already thrown the list out? This year, we are ditching the resolutions and making room for God to Awaken our souls. When we take time to focus on God over the span of days or weeks, we reconnect with him in a new way and get a reboot on our spiritual life.
We will be meeting for worship in our Sanctuary every week day morning at 6:00 am. The service will start with a structured portion, and end with non-structured prayer to accommodate everyone's schedule, allowing for you to get to work and school. These services will be family friendly, so feel free to bring your children along and show them what it means to put God first.
On January 1st, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Saturdays, service will be at 9:00 am.
Let us know you are journeying with us. We'd like to pray for you and send you some encouragement along the way.
Stovall Weems is a pastor who got tired one day of his faith feeling tired and stale. So, he set out to waken himself up. Since then, he had a regular practice of seeking God through regular prayer, worship, and fasting to rekindle his soul yearly and quarterly. His book, Awakening, was written to help other Christians experience those Mountain Top experiences regularly.
You can pick up a book for free from the church office at any time or during one of our worship services. You can also purchase a digital copy or audio version online.
We have small groups and Sunday school classes joining together to support each other through this journey. Feel free to join one of them to enhance the experience. You can also form your own group with some of your friends. The options are endless.
Can't physically make it to some or all of our 6:00 am worship services? That's ok. Join us on Lifestream. The Monday-Saturday morning services will be held in our Sanctuary. Let us know you joined online by registering your attendance below.
