What is MOPS?
- A morning of rest, instruction, support and affirmation for mothers of infant through kindergarten-age children.
- A place to learn Biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage and parenting.
- A place for women to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together, and express creativity through crafts. Craft supplies are provided for a nominal $5.00 fee per Mom - scholarships are available.

- While moms are at MOPS, children are cared for in age-appropriate classes. There is no fee for child care.
- Children enjoy stories, games, crafts and songs.
- Teachers help shape their futures with Christian love and teaching.
- Please provide a snack and drink in a separate, labeled sack for each child. Siblings may be in different rooms. Also, include a disposable diaper, if applicable. We change diapers at least once during the morning.
When & Where MOPS meets
- M.O.P.S. meets every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month during the school year.
- 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon Shalimar United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
