Shalimar UMC is connecting in the mission field at home and
abroad. Our guests during all four services will be Rev. John
Eisenberg and his wife Colleen who have been serving in
Paraguay, South America. During fellowship time in the Family
Life Center, there will be a number of displays and booths
featuring many of the local organizations SUMC sponsors.

College and Career Ministry
SUMC is excited about the College and Careers Ministry. Classes target 18-25 + year olds.
Classes are on Sunday at 10:00 am in Room 20 next to the Youth Rooms.
The class will utilize rotational teaching with Michelle Carmical and Lloyd Moon.
We also have an organized opportunity for everyone to get together on Thursday under the flag pole
at Uptown Station, the group will have small group bible study and activities.

Giving Kiosk in the FLC / Business Office
The giving kiosk set up in the left back corner of the Family Life Center Lobby and in the business office is now operational. We are now accepting Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. To use it the first time, please use the touch screen to enter your telephone number, name & address, and your e-mail address. It will ask you to enter a password, which can be almost anything you choose. After the first-time registration, you only need to enter your telephone number to access the giving information screens. You will find that you have two choices which you may contribute to/make: General Fund, Building Fund. More options will be added soon. Contributions to the Building Fund will be utilized for reducing the principal amount of our bank loan for our new building. A receipt will be printed at the kiosk for your financial records, and all contributions will be entered on your record of contributions. Please come by to see this addition to the variety of ways to make it easy to satisfy your financial commitment to Shalimar United Methodist Church.

By the nature of our calling, we often are not in the office, but are at a hospital, convalescent facility or visiting someone confined in their home, etc. If you wish to see us at the church office, you may best accomplish that by calling the church office at 651-0721 so that we can set a time to be there for you.
