A new sermon series for August and September called Cast of Characters starts August 8th.
The series is based upon the book of the same name by popular pastor and author Max Lucado.

Giving Kiosk in the FLC / Business Office
The giving kiosk set up in the left back corner of the Family Life Center Lobby and in the business office is now operational. We are now accepting Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. To use it the first time, please use the touch screen to enter your telephone number, name & address, and your e-mail address. It will ask you to enter a password, which can be almost anything you choose. After the first-time registration, you only need to enter your telephone number to access the giving information screens. You will find that you have two choices which you may contribute to/make: General Fund, Building Fund. More options will be added soon. Contributions to the Building Fund will be utilized for reducing the principal amount of our bank loan for our new building. A receipt will be printed at the kiosk for your financial records, and all contributions will be entered on your record of contributions. Please come by to see this addition to the variety of ways to make it easy to satisfy your financial commitment to Shalimar United Methodist Church.

OnLine Spiritual Gift Assessment
We hope this tool will help you evaluate your spiritual gifts and that the assessment will assist you in deciding where you can best serve the church. By the nature of our calling, we often are not in the office, but are at a hospital, convalescent facility or visiting someone confined in their home, etc. If you wish to see us at the church office, you may best accomplish that by calling the church office at 651-0721 so that we can set a time to be there for you.
