YOUTH MINISTRY
FUSION is the name of our Youth program here at Shalimar United Methodist Church. It involves all teenagers from 6th to 12th grade. We believe that God gave us a promise that we should enjoy our life and live a life of abundance. We should all have an abundance of joy, peace, fun, and laughter. If you're in need of any of these (and I know you are), then you should come and hang out in one of our meetings every Sunday night where we spend time learning about God and finding his purpose for our life. On Wednesday nights we have our large group meeting. This time is reserved for prayer and taking a deeper look into God's word. We personally invites you to come and be a part of our wonderful youth program!

Youth Ministries Announcements Sunday, January 29th 9:30-10:30 am- "InsideOut" Sunday school! We want you to be transformed from the inside out through the classes that we offer. All 6th grade students go to FLC Room 208 to attend the awesome confirmation class led by Russ & Polly Schambeau. All 7th-12th grade students go to the Youth Rooms for announcements and to receive all the details about our InsideOut classes so you can decide which class to attend. Join us so you can find out what the names of these classes mean: W.I.G.I.T, V.B.S, B.V.D, and B.B.S.! 6:30-Snack Supper 7:00-8:00: FUSION: Join us for worship led by Adam and an opportunity to share what’s on your heart during our "One Way Service". Wednesday, February 1st 5:30-6:30 pm: Hang time in the Youth Rooms. This is a time for homework, video games, or just hanging out with your friends. 6:30-8:00 pm: Transformed Small Group Bible Study! Join us for this important topic about maintaining a pure relationship. Upcoming Events Confirmation Class for 7-12 grades will start in February. Please contact Wayne Walker or David Hoppenjan to register for the Youth Confirmation Class. Saturday, February 11th, Valentines Banquet! The banquet is a way for FUSION Youth Ministry to show how much we love and appreciate our congregation. We need each member of our youth group to participate by being a waiter, waitress, or work in the kitchen. We also need you to sing, play a musical instrument, read a poem, perform a skit, or perform any other talent that you have. Please sign up to work at the Valentines Banquet at FUSION, TRANSFORMED, or InsideOut Sunday school. Adults need to sign up in the FLC, or call the church office, or email names to youth@shalimar-umc.org no later then Wed., Feb. 8th. FUSION is the name of our Student Ministries program. It
